“Sanderling House is a beautiful place to stay”

Beverley Bridgend 21st April 2015
Sanderling House is by far the best self-catering accommodation I have stayed in - not only fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay, but also beautifully decorated throughout with a magical garden. The location of the house is perfect, with a very short stroll to the sea which is overlooked by the Dale Yacht Club (lovely coffee and cakes) and the Griffin Inn (fantastic food). I will definitely be returning!

Perfect setting to relax ,chill, walk, and enjoy stunning scenery, you cant find better!”
Sunny Bank Review April 2015
We had 2 nights at Sanderling and were blessed with glorious weather. The house is very well equipped and furnished . Attention to the detail all round, with everyhting you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. Hairdryers in all 4 bedrooms. Spotlessly clean and fresh. It is a home from home in a glorious setting with sea views from certain aspects and only 1 min walk away from the sea front and jetty. The coastal path is on the doorstep with miles and miles of walking in any direction on the Coastal Path taking in spectacular views. Quiet small village , 1 cafe, 1 Inn/restaurant, and a yacht club all serving very good food and drink depending ontype of dining you are looking for. Highly recommend this property.

Superb holiday house in Dale”

Sanderlings House in Dale, Pembrokeshire is a lovely, well equipped and spacious holiday let. Spotlessly clean and with real attention to detail by the owners this holiday let is a wonderful place to stay to enjoy the lovely Pembrokeshire coastline. The house has a tiered garden, with lots of seats/ tables, and our young grand children loved exploring it's many levels. Sanderlings is just a couple of minutes walk from Dale beach and beach cafe as well as The Griffin pub. The house was ideal for our three generation family holiday and suited everyone. The owner was extremely helpful and provides a comprehensive package of information about both the house and the area. I can wholeheartedly recommend Sanderlings as a lovely and great value place to stay. We will certainly be returning.

“An idillic, beautiful and peaceful home!”

Well where do you start? Firstly if you are after a holiday where you can forget everything then this is for you. I have never been anywhere that is so beautiful and peaceful. To sit in the morning listening and watching the birds enjoying the food and the wonderful garden is a wonderful way to start your day, the sun shines perfectly on the garden filled with flowers like an illusion it blends into the wooded area at the top and at night with no light pollution it is a fantastic place to sit and look and the stars snuggled under a blanket and around the fire pit it is just perfect. During the day there is loads to do if you just fancy a day sat in the house there are wonderful views from the living room, to sit in the chair by the window and to look out to the sea I could sit for hours. If you want to go for a walk well you are spoilt for choice, my favourite being a walk down to west dale where the dog can go for a swim in the secluded beach while you sit looking at all the beautiful views. There is so much to do (or not to do :D) one visit isn't enough shopping in the local little villages and close enough to Haverfordwest you could spend all day exploring!
Then after a hard days shopping, exploring, walking, whatever you do to come back to Sanderling is the perfect way to relax and unwind the house is beautiful! It has all that you need and more, with all rooms with their own themes you can tell that a lot of time, effort and love has gone into it. Its well kept and cleaned with a lovely surprise cake waiting when we arrived. Bonus!
I just cant explain enough how lovely Dale and Especially Sanderling is, I'm truly in love and will defiantly be going back.
What an amazing holiday.
“Peaceful, pretty and so relaxing”

A well equipped and beautifully presented family home from home. Our family loved the peaceful location a short walk from the beach at Dale with other stunningly beautiful beaches dotted around the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
If you enjoy cooking the wonderful local ingredients, lamb, seafood and fresh vegetables you have an excellent kitchen to get creative in.
Just want to relax? put out the birdseed and enjoy watching the dozens of birds visiting the pretty garden. Plenty of books available in the house to identify each feathered visitor.
At night, the stars and planets are much more visible than they are in town so bring some warm clothes and look at the heavens (binoculars kindly provided).
Although we never saw the housekeeper when we had a little problem with the electrics they sorted it out quickly and with no inconvenience to us.
All in all a great place to kick back and RELAX in style.

“Sanderling - a real home from home”

We stayed at Sanderling during October half-term, from the moment we stepped inside it felt like home - a warm and welcoming house. It had everything we needed during our stay. It is a perfect location whether you are a walker, a beach lover, a water-sports enthusiast or just want to curl up with a good book, watch a film or play games, there are plenty of all to choose from. The local pub, The Griffin Inn, has friendly staff and serves great tasty food whether you want a snack or something more substantial. Can thoroughly recommend a visit to the local silversmiths, Helen and Philip of Be-Gemmed, stunning jewelly and something to suit all pockets. West Dale and Marloes beaches are an absolute must and Pembroke Castle is also a great day out. Only word of caution is that at the time of year we visited Dale was starting to close up for the winter, shop, cafe and yacht club already closed. However this did not detract for us at all and there would be lots to do in summer months. Would absolutely recommend both Sanderling, Dale and the wider local area. Thank you Jill and Si for sharing your beautiful house.
